Yes you can. We rent open courts for $40/ hr. Leagues fill the courts on certain evenings and the availability varies so call ahead to reserve your desired playing time. League players enjoy the opportunity to come in and play free anytime, any night provided there are open courts available.
Our leagues are split almost evenly between rec and int. Recreational is for beginners who usually send the ball over the net on the first or second hit. If your team can pass and set reasonably well, or if you like to spike the ball, then you should sign up for intermediate. We try to balance both rec and intermediate leagues by looking at past sessions results. It is not unusual to see teams that have never played before move up to intermediate by their second or third session. Others who are not looking for that much competition have a blast staying in recreational.
Coed teams must have at least as many women as men on the court at any given time. Most teams play with three men and three women (not including subs), but it is not unusual to see all womens teams playing in coed leagues. Coed rules also state that if a ball is hit more than once per side, than a woman needs to be one of the hits.
Yes, as long as you have at least as many women as men. For example, you could play with five as long as three were women. Exceptions to this are OK if the team captains agree before the match begins.
This year we will again be using PayPal to collect league fees. You need not have a paypal account, just a valid credit card. Registration through our website will otherwise remain the same. You can also pay by check or cash here at the facility.
We receive several inquiries from players that would like to be placed on a team. We do our best to put these players together to form a new team or put them in contact with existing teams needing a player. No guarantees. Just email us your skill level, available nights and any contact information that you would not mind us giving potential teammates.
Yes, childrens parties are very popular here. We have some party packages to choose from. Click here to view the different options available.
